For my 29th birthday I told my Mom I wanted to take the boys to see Playhouse Disney Live! So that's exactly what we did. The boys got to see Little Einsteins, Winnie the Pooh and friends, Mickey Mouse and friends, and Handy Manny. We had a great time. My favorite part was watching the boys and how excited they were. They were really getting into the crowd participation parts and singing the songs. The look on their faces was the best birthday present I could ask for. Thanks Mom (Nina) for a great day.

Mickey, Donald, Minnie, and Goofy

Thomas and Amy joined us. I think he enjoyed the show too.

They were way too excited to sit in their seats.

Handy Manny and his tools

Tigger, Pooh, and Darby

Little Einsteins and Rocket

Nina bought all the boys a Handy Manny hard hat and cotton candy.

After the show we took the boys to Chuck E Cheese for supper. Ryan was excited to get to shake his hand. It always amazes me that they aren't afraid of these characters. They still scare me a little bit.

This is where our great day made a turn for the worst. 2 days before Ryan had a little stomach bug but was better Thursday and seemed to be fine Friday. At Chuck E Cheese I took Ryan to play games, Amy had Thomas, and Nina had Cale. I couldn't find Nina and Cale for the longest time so finally I went to check in the bathroom and sure enough my poor little boy had gotten his brother's bug and he had thrown up all over his clothes. I had more clothes in the car but he was very insistent that he not change so we cleaned him up the best we could and headed home. He got sick again in the car on the way home and again when we got to Granny's (she was keeping Natalie). He was so sick and pitiful. The next day he had stopped getting sick but I could tell he wasn't feeling very well. That night Natalie got sick and had terrible diarrhea. Mrs. Cindy called and said she had gotten sick, then I got sick, and Bart got it a few days later. It also passed through the Roland family the next week. It must have been super contagious. Thank goodness it only lasted about 24 hours. I felt like I was cleaning up throw up and diarrhea for a week straight. No thank you!!!
